Covid Uncertainty is on everyone’s mind. As we have all have heard, Omicron is raging in Europe. It is set to become the dominant variant in Europe by mid-January. There seems to be no need for a variant specific booster for Omicron, says Dr. Fauci. It has been detected in at least 36 states in the US so far. As Delta continues to cause most of the US cases thus far, coupled with flu season upon us, we are again in a health care crisis.
In order to stay centered and prepared, women will be at the center of the winter surge. They usually hold the households together with husband and children. They have been working remotely. Often forgoing promotions to manage their children’s education. Even though most schools are all in person this fall, they bear the brunt of education uncertainty.
With this as a backdrop, it is most important that women practice self-care. Specifically: plenty of exercise, hydration, meditation if possible and positive outlooks. The balance they can hope to achieve with work and their life is even more essential as a tough winter looms ahead. Covid uncertainty can be managed in a balance life!
